"I am very impressed with the amount and availability of GIS information for
Clinton County.  We are committed to the health of the East Fork Little
Miami River watershed and require a large amount of data to properly
assess and plan for the restoration and protection of the watershed.
Due to the effectiveness of your website I was able to download all the
GIS files I needed in less than a half hour.  This is a tremendous
resource to help us in our efforts.

"Awesome Website!"  Warren County Ohio GIS Dept.

"The Clinton County GIS Department has done a fantastic job of getting up-to-date technologically. Its web site is a great resource for the News Journal to research deeds and gather factual information about Clinton County as a whole. It offers an impressive array of maps — from the fire districts in Clinton County and where warming shelters are located to 1,000 foot buffers around schools and daycare centers and what the area looked like in past years, offering a chance to really see how the county has changed. Joe Merritt is constantly adding new things to the site." ... Rachel Colliver, Editor, Wilmington News Journal

"The attentive level of service, friendliness of Joe and staff, and the quality of GIS resources available is exceptional for any County GIS department; Clinton County is fortunate to have an outstanding GIS department which provides a great service to stakeholders, county agencies and our citizens"...Christian Schock, Executive Director Clinton County Regional Planning

GIS is a system for capturing, storing, integrating, manipulating, analyzing and displaying data, which is spatially referenced to the Earth. I've not seen a better example of this... than the Clinton County GIS ... Cliff Lovin, Woolpert Inc.

The ODOT right-of-way plans look great!...They are such a great resource yet we rarely use them because they were so hard to access."   Haley Dusa Group, Dayton, Ohio

The GIS data such as Contours and LIDAR being made available on web pages has made it much easier for the Engineers Office here in Clinton County to download and use data sets specifically for projects we work on, such as the surveying of bridges and calculating drainage areas and flow rates.  The GIS data has made us more efficient as well as more accurate in the calculations required to design and size bridges and culverts.  The added confidence that we have using this data has provided a better, more economical design time after time." ....  Clinton County Engineers Office
