Timing:

The GIS Department must have at least 48 hours or more to complete requests for special maps or map data. Most "simple" map requests (i.e. map of one property, aerial photography of a property) can be completed by the Map Department located in the Clinton County Courthouse at 46 South South Street Wilmington, Ohio.

Walk-ins with requests for maps are welcome but it must be understood that it takes time to produce maps of any type and that it is always best to call or e-mail us ahead of an office visit.

The most simple and efficient means of conveying a request to the GIS Department is through e-mail; you can e-mail the GIS Department Manager at merrittjoe@hotmail.com.

Please make a check out to the Clinton County Engineers Office for:

• DVD’s which are $10.00 a piece, regardless of content. Our color photography for the entire county fits on one DVD in MrSID file format.
• CD’s which are $5.00 a piece, regardless of content.

Information:

1. All of the Data available for download on this web page can be placed on a CD(s) and picked up in our Tax Map Department or our GIS Department office.
2. Any map can be exported to a PDF file or to a JPG file format and e-mailed to you. The resolution of the map image must be kept down to make the file size small enough to be effectively and efficiently e-mailed. Usually, 1 to 3 MB is ok.
