Abstract:
The Addresses layer contains all visible addressable
structures. This layer contains a point-based geometry.
Each point represents one address, which is typically
located at the structure's driveway. This layer can be used
to find accurate address locations without resorting to
lower accuracy methods such as geocoding.
Purpose:
The Addresses layer was collected as a layer for the
Clinton County,OH Road Centerline and Address Mapping
Project. Addresses will assist in the routing of emergency
vehicles. Also this layer supplies the county with the
locations of their addressable structures.
Supplemental_Information:
The Addresses layer does not represent the exact locations
of the structures. The addresses are collected in the
roadway at the driveway entrance.

including spelling and grammar. Also the attribute
information is verified.
Logical_Consistency_Report:
The Addresses layer was examined for anomalies, such as
even or odd addresses on the wrong side and addresses out
of sequence. Such inconsistencies are flagged for the
county. Also the layer was checked for duplicate addresses.

Process_Description:
In the field, raw GPS for the address is collected in the
roadway in front of the driveway or structure. The raw data
is brought back to DDTI to be processed. A point shape file
is generated for all addresses collected. Then the
addresses are pulled to the centerline and projected a
predetermined distance towards the structure. The shape
file is checked for errors. Finally, the file is prepped
for delivery.

Digital
Data Technologies, Inc. (DDTI) has provided to Clinton County,OH
Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
Basemapping and Data Integration services, the product of
which have been recorded in formats for uses that include
display on a Web site, by the County at is employee's work
stations, and for distribution to the public (referred to
as "Products"). While DDTI has made warranties to the
County that the data it obtained were collected in a
workmanlike manner using accepted industry procedures, it
cannot guaranty 100% accuracy of the data and Products
since two of the three major inputs to the mapping process
require DDTI's dependence on the accuracy of information
and technology over which DDTI has no control. Further, any
data conversion performed by DDTI for the County to produce
Products are subject to the same two input issues. These
two inputs over which DDTI has no control are data obtained
from satellite-controlled positioning and data that the
County has provided to DDTI from public records maintained
by the County and organizations other than DDTI. This
Disclaimer does not mean that the final product is faulty,
but simply that DDTI cannot warrant the accuracy of the
Products containing the final data, which are an
integration of its collected data, the satellite-controlled
positioning data, and the information given to DDTI by the
County. THEREFORE,
DDTI PROVIDES THE DATA TO THIRD PARTY USERS OF THE DATA ON
AN "AS IS" BASIS. DDTI MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR
WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE
ACCURACY OF THE DATA AND YOU AGREE BY YOUR USE OF THIS DATA
THAT SUCH USE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO
THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, DDTI
DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING,
